  1. What certifications does Dijkstra Plastics hold?
    Dijkstra Plastics is BRC-IoP certified. For years, this has helped us to achieve the AA-status, the highest possible standard for producers of packaging materials for foodstuffs. This certification focuses on food safety guarantees in accordance with the HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines. In practice, this certification implies that our packaging containers for foodstuffs are produced under the most hygienic conditions. The certificate guarantees an optimal production process and high-quality end product, with regard to which food safety is guaranteed. We have also received an FSSC 22000 certification.

  2. What is PCR? (Post Consumer Recycled)?
    In the context of sustainability, we will commit to make maximum use of recycled polypropylene. PCR is recycled polypropylene that is made of used plastic (and used packaging) that was collected from consumers via collection systems. After collection, this flow is processed into polypropylene granulate by means of sorting, separating and washing. We can use this granulate again in our production processes.
